Seventeen centuries ago, in the heart of the Roman Empire, there lived a woman named Basilina — a noblewoman of Greek descent whose name meant, quite simply, Queen. Her son, the Emperor Julian, so honored her memory that he named a city after her: Basilinopolis. A city, for a mother. A kingdom, for a queen.
Bassilina is born from her name — and from a belief as old as her story: that every woman carries a queen within her. Not the queen of thrones and palaces, but the quieter one. الملكة التي وراء الاسم
قبل سبعة عشر قرنًا، في قلب الإمبراطورية الرومانية، عاشت امرأة اسمها باسيلينا — سيدة نبيلة كان اسمها يعني ببساطة: الملكة. أحبّها ابنها الإمبراطور يوليان حتى أنه خلّد ذكراها ببناء مدينة تحمل اسمها. مدينةٌ لأمّ. مملكةٌ لملكة.
من اسمها وُلدت باسيلينا — ومن إيمانٍ قديم قِدَم حكايتها: أن في داخل كل امرأة ملكة. ليست ملكة العروش والقصور، بل الملكة الأهدأ؛ تلك التي تنهض كل صباح، تلك التي قوّتها هامسة، تلك التي جمالها لا يُوضَع… بل يُوقَظ.
